Job Summary:
The Assistant Director for Recruiting and Advising would be the primary contact in the Bayh College of Education (BCOE) for any issue involving recruiting, advising, and transfers for undergraduate teacher education. The position would be responsible for both general recruitment of students as well as recruiting diverse students into the teacher education and communications disorders majors. The position would be responsible for developing and maintaining partnerships with high schools and community colleges to ensure students’ smooth matriculation to ISU. This position would serve as the transfer specialist and manage the Transfer Evaluation System (TES) for the BCOE and would work with various campus partners including education major partners in other colleges and would participate in New Student Orientation as the representative of the BCOE and would work with partners for various campus events, including recruiting events through the Admissions Office. The Assistant Director for Recruiting and Advising would represent the Assistant Dean in meetings or discussions as appropriate.
