Raleigh, North Carolina, About WakeMed: Position Information: The Referral Representative, under minimal supervision, is responsible for ensuring that all appointments, tests, procedures and surgeries are scheduled in a timely manner; that all required referrals and authorizations are in place per practice/system procedures and that registration information is complete and accurate. Position serves as a liaison for practice with patients, departments, healthcare providers and insurance companies. The Referral Representative is part of a multifunctional team charged with the responsibility of provider efficient and process access. Experience Requirements: 1 Year Administrative Required Education Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required – And Associate’s Degree Business Administration Preferred Licensure/Certification Requirements: Not Applicable Hours of Work: 8:00a-4:30p Weekend Requirements: No Weekends Call Requirements: none
