Payments Client Service, Implementation and Operations (PCSIO) is part of the Digital & Platform Services organization in the Corporate & Investment Bank. It provides the following capabilities:
- Operational support to the JPMC Payments businesses including Treasury Services, Commercial Card, Trade Finance and Merchant Services
- Payment hub services for all firmwide divisions.
- Cross-product cash management, reconciliation and change management services.
PCSIO consists of over 10,000 employees across 60 sites and supports 142k corporations, financial institutions, governments and municipalities domiciled in over 180 countries.
Regulatory reporting requirements are complex, increasing in nature, and our reporting infrastructure requires upgrade to meet these requirements. We want to strengthen our management of those regulatory reporting needs and drive significant improvement around completeness, control and ability to adapt to new requirements.
You will be an Executive Director reporting into the Head of Regulatory Operations and lead the build out of the new Regulatory Product Owner capability which is fundamental to the transformation of the Regulatory Change the Bank (CTB) model. You will partner with Product, Technology, Operations, Risk to proactively and effectively manage global regulatory change and meet the need of our regulators/product partners whilst ensuring that critical technology assets are optimized.
Job Responsibilities
- You will cover Payments new business: new products, product capability extension, new payment flows, etc.
- You will be responsible for Regulatory Directives/Audit initiatives: new regulations, changes over existing regulations related to Anti-Money-Laundering, Guarantee Deposits, Payment Transactions etc.
- Technology: Platform Modernization, System Integration, Decommission and/or Migration initiatives, etc.
- Accountable for managing a global team of Regulatory Product Owners across various locations (APAC, EMEA, NAMR/LATAM) that include
- Lead the design and implantation of organizational processes at a global regulatory portfolio level
- You will be required to deliver a sustainable RegOps service, able to meet the needs of future demand in an efficient and effective manner
Required Qualifications, Skills & Capabilities
- You will be a regulatory subject matter expert: Knowledge of payment products and related regulatory landscape, globally
- You will demonstrate an understanding of payments processing and as a product
- You will have In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies – strategy & implementation
- You will have previous working experience as a Product Owner within Payments Regulatory Operations, Reg Reporting and/or Technology
- Operational processes transformation skills, assessing, modelling and implementing at a global scale.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Experience in managing senior teams
