Summit/NJ/USA, Overview Atlantic Health System is seeking a Part-time Security Officer I for the Protection & Security Services department Overlook Medical Center to work 7am – 7pm including weekends as needed. Responsibilities Responding to codes, dispatching, report writing, alarm checks, foot and vehicle patrol, unit posts. Comprehensive and mandatory training requirements included training that may be provided on non-work scheduled hours and may include week days and weekends. Overall Safety of the Medical Center and all adjacent facilities and properties. Qualifications Qualifications/Requirements: Reading, writing, communication and computer skills Excellent customer service skills Must be able to read, write and speak English Excellent typing skills, familiarity with the use of general office equipment, and computer experience required Weekends, holidays are required and Candidate will be subject to recall with short notice Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED required Military, extensive Law Enforcement or Security experience, will be considered in lieu of associates degree Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred License/Certifications: Valid NJ Driver’s License required CPR/AED and First Aid preferred SORA (Security Officer Registration Act) Certification preferred Minimum Experience: Prior Security experience About Us Atlantic Health System aims to deliver the highest quality, safety and care combined the best experience for our patients and their families.
