As a server, you desire to provide an exceptional dining experience for our membership and their guests. You are welcoming and accommodating with the ability to educate our members on food and beverage recommendations that we not only meet but exceed their expectations.
This position requires a very careful adherence to well-dened work where repeatable results are needed. The work is highly precise in nature and requires a very strong attention to detail. It is vital for the work output to be very high quality, with correct results, time and time again. Checking and double-checking is often
necessary; individuals performing the job must be patient and conscientious. Both the content and the
presentation are important; all work must be highly polished.
Responsibilities:
- Warmly greets each member with a smile and understands the importance of name recognition
- Anticipate member needs and be willing to go above and beyond to accommodate them
- Take food and beverage orders and enter them into the Point-of-Sale system accurately and efficiently
- Efficiently serve food and beverages in a friendly and courteous manner, offers suggestions on daily menu specials and wine selections based on member and guest preferences
- Be present during the entire dining experience to regularly check and refill beverages, clear dishes, and place additional orders
- Facilitate proper service techniques, such as serving from the left and clearing from the right
- Perform all opening and closing dining room duties and side work (stocking beverages, polishing, and rolling silverware, etc.)
- Maintain knowledge of high standard of safety and cleanliness
- Assist other team members as needed
- Attend training, menu tastings, and shift meetings
Requirements
- Excellent communication, hospitable, and interpersonal skills
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule; including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Prior serving experience preferred
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Frequently lift and carry up to 35 pounds, stand for long periods of time, and climb stairs
- Pre-Employment candidates must pass a thorough background check and drug screen
