· Designated Emergency Center of Excellence recognizing our facility as a high-performing emergency department Located about 10 minutes from downtown Fort Worth and near TCU in the award-winning school district, Burleson ISD which also provides a low-cost of living. The role you’ll contribute: Compile and report financial statements and supporting schedules on a monthly basis. To assist in other financial functions as requested by the Director or Assistant Director. Assist in monitoring cash management and maintaining spreadsheets for special services. The value you’ll bring to the team: • Responsible for entries into the hospital general ledger on an ongoing basis to produce monthly financial statements. • Compile information from various departments and prepare monthly journal entries – to accurately produce monthly financial statements by the 5th working day of the month. • Gather data from financial statements, statistical reports, prior years’ records and budget pages – to produce several supporting schedules to accompany financial statements. • Reconcile various bank accounts – to verify account balances with respective general ledger totals on a monthly basis within thirty days of the month. • Reconcile balance sheet accounts as assigned, meeting the established deadlines. • Maintain subsidiary records for PP&E.
• Reconcile G/L PP&E accounts to ensure accuracy in posting and clear any reconciling items in a timely manner. • Enter equipment details and maintains depreciation data base. • Tag all major moveable equipment. • Maintain spreadsheet for special services and projects such as audits, CER processing and various surveys for accurate record keeping. • Prepare departmental CER log for President’s Council, process approved CERs and prepare financing log. • Responsible to assist in the ongoing operation of the accounting department to maintain efficiency. • Assist in answering the telephone within four rings as observed by the Assistant Controller/Controller. • Answer department heads questions and assist individuals who come to the accounting department in a courteous and tactful manner, referring to the appropriate person with less than two justified complaints per quarter. • Complete additional reports and projects as assigned meeting established deadlines with less than two variances per quarter.
