Columbus, Georgia, Description The central plant supervisor is responsible as a working supervisor for managing maintenance personnel in routine maintenance and repair services performed in the central energy plant and essential utility and life safety systems.  Responsible for maintaining and repairing boilers, chillers and auxiliary equipment.  Maintain proper documentation and chair the utilities management subcommittee.  Must be able to troubleshoot without direct supervision and responsible for preparation, planning and coordinating of maintenance support work schedules.  Establishes and oversees preventative maintenance program.  Provide and manage operational and capital budget. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Skill and ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines. Skill and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Ability to work as a member of a team. Computer skills with experience in building automation.  Required Skills Licenses: 4th Class Engineers License with 6 months for improvement.  Minimum Work Experience Minimum ten (10) years working experience in a central plant operations and mechanical work. Work may be substituted for the trade school certificate.  Required Licenses [Georgia, United States] Other Power Engineering State License-Class 4 (required) Journeyman or Georgia State License in one of the following (required) HVAC, Electrical or Plumbing UST fuel certification (required)
