Wilmington, Delaware, Primary Function – The position will work across the population health portfolio and is responsible for developing a writing strategy by identifying systems, processes, and initiatives that need documentation and establishing priorities and schedules for their creation. Plan, organize, and write high-quality documentation such as clinical/business user guides, instructional manuals, newsletters, white papers, briefs, toolkits, research papers, etc. Prepare documentation by converting technical descriptions into audience-appropriate language; enforce the organization and consistency of the department’s documentation to conform to the guidelines created; define requirements and usage guidelines for a document repository tool; improve documentation by evaluating internal process tools and interviewing clinical and other users; implement continuous improvement opportunities within the documentation as part of each process or procedure; as well as design and develop all documents using established standards. Essential Functions – Produce clear, concise end-user publications in a timely manner. Support program-wide development of content and materials by distilling complex health topics in plain language. Research, prepare, and edit public-facing health technical documents for publication, including webinars, job aids, fact sheets, and workflows. Analyze the needs of the target audience. Conduct in-depth interviews with subject matter experts to fully understand the program, product, or procedure. Produce or arrange for illustrations, charts, and screenshots to for publications. Prepare and edit references for publications (including peer-review) and draft responses to reviewer feedback.
Build content expertise while using solid proofreading and layout skills to develop polished client deliverables. Edit, standardizes, and/or revise material prepared by other writers or personnel. Prepare layout of material for publication. Prepare rough drafts of the publication for review with the feature team, manager, team lead, and/or customers. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree More than 1 year relevant experience
