Consistently named a Top Workplace in Tampa Bay by the Tampa Bay Times   The role you’ll contribute: Provides patients with support treatment, care, and evaluations prior to and during transportation. The value you’ll bring to the team: Identifies, intervenes, and stabilizes patients during transport, under the direction of the medical director and protocols Monitors, records, and communicates patient conditions and treatments, as appropriate Educates patients and family members about patient illnesses and clinical interventions Inspects and maintains equipment to ensure the safety of transport team members, patients, and the general public Monitors and anticipates needs for additional equipment and appropriately secures tools to meet patient care demands during transport Operates emergency vehicles safely in a variety of weather and emergent conditions in accordance to established safety standards.   Effectively communicates delays and updates to dispatch. Immediately reports any damage or vehicle issues to the supervisor Responsible for maintaining equipment between transports.

Maintains the unit in a constant state of readiness Qualifications The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: FL State Paramedic license Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) certification Valid Class E State Driver’s License, or Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), and driving record in accordance with facility policy Commercial Emergency Vehicle Operator (CEVO), or Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC), or Emergency Vehicle Operator Safety.
