Tutor

Job Summary

Provide individual and small group tutoring to students. Assist students in
improving academic achievement by meeting with them on a regular basis to identify learning challenges and improving study
skills.  

Other assistance may include: reviewing class material, discussing the text, preparing for tests, formulating ideas for
papers, and working on solutions to help improve academic skills and abilities.  

Tutoring is a supplement to classroom
teaching.

Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma, or equivalency; demonstrated human
relations and effective communication skills are required.

The incumbent will be required to pass a Bureau of Criminal Investigation
(BCI) Background check

Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined
in the position description.
