Job Summary:
Provides tutoring services for enrolled LMC students.
Essential Functions:
1. Provides one-to-one, small group, and/or classroom instructional assistance for LMC students.
2. Assists students with the use of media to supplement instruction.
3. Maintains appropriate and accurate records.
4. Visits classrooms to increase recognition of services and consults with faculty and staff concerning students and student success.
5. Attends all training requested by the Manager or Coordinator of Testing and Learning Assistance.
6. Performs other duties as assigned.

Under the direct supervision of the Testing & Learning Assistance Center Coordinators and the indirect supervision of the Manager of Testing & Learning Assistance, the Professional Tutor is responsible for assisting students to improve academic performance.
Job Specifications:
Associate degree or higher required. Successful completion of the course tutored or higher level course with a grade B or higher. Relevant experience may be considered. Interpersonal skills. Confidentiality. Must be able to commit for full academic terms.
