Schedule:   Full Time The role you’ll contribute: The User Experience Manager leads a team of designers responsible for the research, interaction design, user interface, and visual design for AdventHealth. This role establishes work priorities, provides direction, and guides the team to create on-brand, high-impact experiences based on user needs and business requirements. The manager acts as a digital experience representative in cross-divisional forums and collaborates with designers, developers, researchers, product and project managers, and business partners to grow AdventHealth’s organizational UX discipline for both internal and external audiences. The manager works with the director to set, execute and lead on strategic-level decisions in the areas of UX design, information architecture and visual design.   The value you’ll bring to the team: ·          Supports the Director with planning, budgeting and staffing allocation for the UX team ·          Collaborates closely with key stakeholders in business, marketing and product development to establish and implement the organizations UX strategy, provide UX recommendations and solutions ·          Manages the intake process, prioritization, and resource allocation for all UX projects ·          Leads the team in key project decision-making, including: requirements gathering, scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination of teams and approval processes ·          Inspires, motivates and mentors UX team to continuously deliver exceptional work that puts the customer’s needs first ·          Maintains partnerships with other customer data teams (e.

g. consumer insights, analytics, etc. ) to ensure user research efforts are coordinated with other customer data teams. ·          Promote a culture of rapid iteration based on insights gleaned from consumer feedback, research and data analytics. ·          Maintain high standards for design artifacts including wireframes, diagrams, prototypes and visual design ·          Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, information architecture, navigation models, screen flows and other UX deliverables as needed ·          Guides all UX development and documentation including research, scenarios, wireframes, prototypes, testing and defining functional specifications ·          Manages the consistency of established design patterns/brand identity as well as create new designs to enhance and improve the visual appeal of all materials ·          Manages the team’s best practices for human-centered design and ensure effective design methodologies ·          Leverages user data, analytics and business needs to guide leadership decisions ensuring data-driven, user-centric design ·          Leads usability testing sessions with our clients to ensure their voice is present in the design of all our consumer and employee products. Qualifications The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed : KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: ·          5+ years’ experience in user experience, user experience management, service design or closely-related fields ·          3+ years of experience with direct reports, building and leading teams ·          2+ years’ experience in user research, including conducting usability tests ·          Extensive experience with design, wireframing, and research software tools ·          Demonstrated experience facilitating, creating and documenting user experience strategy and best practices ·          Ability to multitask, utilizing exceptional written and verbal communication skills while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment ·          Leads through effective story-telling with strong communication and presentation skills ·          Experience presenting to and successfully influencing others, including designers, partners and senior management.   KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED: ·          Experience in the healthcare industry ·          Experience using agile methodology ·          Experience with optimizing cross channel user experiences ·          Proven delivery of elegant user interactions that combine strong usability with an engaging experience and integrated brand communications   EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: ·          Bachelor’s degree in Visual/Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Industrial Design, Psychology or related field.
