TITLE: Vice President
At Lake Area Technical College (LATC), we take our mission seriously: superior,

the college’s Vice President, our primary operations officer. The VP position supports students, staff, and faculty in our pursuit of
excellence. This strategic leader is responsible for general operations and is a key member of the President’s leadership team.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree or higher preferred, in one of
the following areas: education, education administration, business administration, human resources, organizational leadership, or related
field. - 7 or more years of experience leading organizational functions such as human resources, finance, policy, or operations.
- Experience in higher education management and leadership.
- Experience in operational planning, policy development, budget
management, needs assessment, and implementation of strategic priorities. - Proven collaboration, communication, and conflict
resolution skills. - Ability to coordinate and manage multiple high-profile initiatives and operations at once.
- Ability to
establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and external partners. - Ability to effectively
communicate ideas and information, in written and oral format, to students, staff, colleagues, and the general public in large or small
group settings. - Bilingual a plus.
- National Career Readiness Certificate level Gold or higher a plus.
REPORTS TO: President
PREFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the primary operations
officer for Lake Area Technical College, constantly driving improvement processes and leading strategic priorities to advance the college
and its results. - Lead the college’s finance, institutional research, grants management, information technology, and human
resources efforts. Oversee the campus-owned daycare. - Lead institutional research efforts, including overseeing and prioritizing
data collection, analysis, and reporting. Responsible for data, analytics, and visualizations used in telling the LATC story. - Serve
as signing authority on state and federal grants. Oversee grant applications, award management, and compliance. - Assist President
with budget formation and management. - Manage, in conjunction with the Dean of Academics and Dean of Student Services, the
assessment process involving all aspects of the operation and accreditation, ensuring compliance with current and emerging federal
compliance requirements. - Motivate staff and faculty to operate as subject matter experts and stay current with relevant events,
trends, and regulations. - Actively promote Lake Area Tech, be visible and active in the community, and develop active and vital
relationships within the region and the state. - Participate as an active member in the President’s Cabinet. In
President’s absence, handle essential Presidential job duties, as necessary. - Assist with new program development and program
expansions based on industry trends and the needs of our partners. - Coordinate all campus staffing and evaluations.
- Directly supervise staff and entities central to accomplishing assigned duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the
President.
SALARY RANGE: $115,000 – $135,000, depending on qualifications. Highly competitive benefits
package.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Administrative contract over 12 months with compensation set by the
Watertown School Board.
