Job Description:

Russell Sage College announces its search for a vice president for
enrollment management. Reporting directly to the president, the VPEM is the chief enrollment management and admissions officer and is
responsible for providing leadership for all aspects of undergraduate, transfer, and graduate admissions.

The primary duties and
responsibilities of the vice president for enrollment management include:

  • Create, sustain, and execute a vision and data-driven
    strategic plan for enrollment growth that is appropriate to Russell Sage and aligned with its strategic plan.
  • Supervise the
    Financial Aid Office and oversee strategic use of financial aid funds to grow net tuition revenue.
  • Lead, inspire, supervise, hire
    and evaluate the members of the Admissions team. Create a collaborative work environment and empower the division to exceed expectations.
    Provide leadership through collaborative relationships with Marketing & Communications, Student Life, Academic Affairs, Athletics (NCAA
    D3), and other offices across the college.
  • Foster efforts to attract and retain a student body that is diverse ethnically,
    racially, culturally, and socioeconomically.
  • Communicate routinely and clearly with the President and the cabinet, staff and
    colleagues, and the Board of Trustees on current trends, enrollment numbers and projections, and budgetary impacts throughout the enrollment
    cycle.
  • Develop and manage an enrollment management budget that achieves strategic enrollment goals in line with the financial goals
    of the college.
  • Actively participate in enrollment management events in order to provide and model leadership, engagement, and
    continuity.

The estimated salary range is $145,000 to $165,000 per year for 40 hours per week for 52 weeks.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and at least five years of managerial level
responsibility in college enrollment. The candidate will demonstrate a deep knowledge of best practices in enrollment management and a
record of success in increasing enrollment as well as net tuition revenue. Experience in the areas of strategic enrollment planning,
admission, financial aid, and data analysis is expected, as is knowledge of broader higher education trends, and a demonstrated commitment
to diversity and inclusion. The candidate should demonstrate an ability to inspire and lead a hardworking, energetic team.
